16 March - ‘D’ day minus one.
Bron and Mike left 'Greenvale' for Melbourne early for Mike to get to a midday meeting at work.
Dad and I spent the best part of the day finalising his packing and setting up the new iPad before closing up the house and heading to Melbourne ready to fly to Sydney tomorrow to catch the ship.
I dropped Dad at Bron’s, ducked around to Aunty Sue’s to collect the birthday photos (thankfully she had her camera, mine was left in the car all packed and ready)
Next stop Southern Cross Station to collect my mate Sue and then head out to Ciloms’s ready to catch our early morning flight to Sydney... and perhaps upload this blog and some of the photos from the Big 80th celebrations and get to bed early for the continuation for the Festival of Dad's 80th.
