Another free start to the day, plans to meet for lunch at 12.30.
Slept in, finally got to watch The Queen and Abdul on the complimentary movie channel, it started about 7.15, Sue had seen middle and end, but not the start, as the movies cycle through every 2.5hours, but there is no schedule, so it was pot luck.
 |
| Bron was up for a run/walk on a wet and rained on deck, happened across this awesome rainbow. |
After that we went down for breaky, I tested a few of the less 'healthy' options - spinach and egg pizza, waffles, bignets, apple pancakes - a taste of most things. All quite nice.

| Dad happened across the staff stacking a trolley with the fruit displays. |

After breaky we went shopping - Sue needed to check out the alcohol, I got my duty free yesterday. Then I went to listen to the information session on disembarkation in the Pharoah's Lounge, and got to see the Captain and many of the crew and staff.

Met Sue and Mike and Bron in Red Frog for a Chat with the Cast, where the Playlist Principal Performers, were there to answer questions, it was interesting to learn a few facts about how it all works for the shows.
There are 8 of them - mostly from the US, with 3 from the UK also, they are contracted for 9 months, and they have been on Carnival ships for between 3 and 11 years, one couple is married, another couple are engaged. They rehearse for a month in Miami before joining the ship. Shows remain and casts come and go, moving between ships and contracts. For some this was their first experience of Australia, they started this set of shows in February.

Then we met for lunch, we tried Fat Jimmy's C side BBQ - which is upstairs and outside on Deck 11- quite a good selection of meats and vegies. We all managed not to overindulge as we head back to the Nouveau Restaurant for our last meal.
