B’ day. 15 March. 80 years on and still going strong.

Dad’s birthday. We, the family, headed for home - Bamawm Extension (near Echuca). A quick change and spruce up, then into town for birthday tea at Dad’s ‘go to’ restaurant Double Dragon Chinese in Moama.
We were joined by some of Dad’s oldest and dearest friends and family for a feast.
Claire from Double Dragon had put in a lot of effort with some decorations and a bottle of Dad’s favourite red.  The food was up to usual DD standard and Bronwyn made a delicious Choc Hazelnut Cake accompanied by fresh fruit - figs, berries and Dad’s sweet sultana grapes for birthday and dessert.
In addition to the Carriages Red from Claire and Nelson, Dad also received a handy Rich River Golf Club gift card, a nice 10 year old port, a new iPad and accessories and a photo book depicting a potted history of his life in pictures (plus a bottle of red from Sue C also)
The guests were Dad’s cousin Norma and daughter Lyn, sister in law - Suzie, long time friends - Barb and Neil, Lance and Cherry, Mary, Ray and Jean, Phyllis and Bron, Mike and I.
